If I could give lower than one I would. I have been with this group for years and Erie insurance is great but this provider is subpar. I attempted to cancel my insurance to go with another and was told I couldn’t because the owner had to approve it. This to me is extortion. I asked to cancel at the first of the month and they canceled early and they sent a letter to advise me stating I requested it. I spoke to the wise office on the day they canceled and the agent stated it was fixed and would be canceled on the first like r... read more

My agent is close, reachable and willing to share coverage options and saving tips with me before my renewal. Coverage is reasonably priced and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I have had Erie Insurance for many years, but I just recently had to file my first claim with them after my vehicle broke down and I had to be towed home. I called the Big Stone Gap office and was told exactly what to do to start my claim. The whole process took less than a week to file my claim, get approved, and receive my check in the mail. Owner is never available because he takes vacation all the time .You try to talk to an agent but always in speaker phone and can't understand what they say .
